About Me
My name is Shane Sakata. I was born and grew up in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada and I now reside in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Well, that’s only partly true, I travel quite a bit as a result of my husband’s work and that leads me on many great adventures!
I am a financial analyst/accountant by training and am a little too analytical as a result of it if you ask my husband! I am a big baseball fan and my hobbies include reading, photography, traveling, cooking, knitting and crocheting to name a few.
This site will be combination of travelogue and commentary about my adventures and the various things that I learn wandering along the path that is my life. I also write a travel blog for b5 media called The Tokyo Traveler where I blog about events and places in my new part time home.
